As the commercial centerpiece of Florida’s master-planned WaterColor community, the WaterColor Inn, restaurant, and beach club were conceived to feel both distinctly local and destination-worthy. Developed in collaboration with Rockwell Group, the project encompassed architecture, interiors, and landscape design for a 60-room boutique hotel and its surrounding amenities. The design balances the character of a Southern coastal town with the refinement of a luxury resort, using residential scale, warmth, and understated detailing to create an inviting guest experience. In 2006, Travel + Leisure named the WaterColor Inn the nation’s top family resort hotel.
