Renovation and Fan Experience Master Planning in collaboration with Smith Clementi Architects.

The Honda Center Reimagining Master Plan was a one-year initiative to define the future of the Anaheim Ducks’ arena and its role at the heart of the OCVibe district. In collaboration with Smith Clementi Architects, we guided a consensus-building process that unified stakeholders around a clear vision for a comprehensive renovation.

The effort centered on elevating the entire fan journey. Scope included a full Fan Experience Journey Map, an integrated Brand and Sponsorship Master Plan, and the development of new opportunities across the building—fan zones, enhanced seating products, reimagined food & beverage, updated retail, and a renewed Hall of Fame—along with a refreshed event-day experience from arrival to in-bowl.

This Master Plan set the foundation for the major renovation now in design and construction under Populous, targeting a grand reopening ahead of the 2028 Olympic Games.
