Fan Experience Strategy and Renovation Master Planning in collaboration with Smith Clementi Architects.

Ripbang Studios served as a strategic experience design consultant to Smith Clementi Architects on the Honda Center Reimagining Master Plan, a year-long effort to establish a shared vision for the future of the Anaheim Ducks’ arena and its role within the emerging OCVibe district.

Working closely with the architectural team and ownership, we helped shape a comprehensive renovation strategy focused on improving the fan experience at every touchpoint. Our work incorporated guest journey analysis, brand integration, sponsorship strategy, and placemaking principles to identify opportunities for new premium seating products, fan gathering spaces, food and beverage destinations, retail experiences, the Hall of Fame, and other enhancements designed to elevate the event-day experience from arrival through departure.

The resulting Master Plan became the roadmap for the Anaheim Ducks’ comprehensive arena renovation. It established the strategic vision the organization has used to guide the complete transformation of Honda Center, now being designed and implemented by Populous in preparation for the 2028 Olympic Games.
