This campus reflects our passion for connecting people to place through intentional storytelling. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Guadalupe River estuary, the design vision began with a single idea: Re-wilding—a return to what's natural. This concept guided a comprehensive environmental graphics and wayfinding strategy that blends seamlessly with the landscape.
Inspired by the coastline and nearby mountains, sculptural reed totems, layered perforations, and organic patterns allow signage to quietly merge with its surroundings while strengthening the campus's visual identity.
Inside, the narrative unfolds through three buildings themed around the "Seasons of the Sea"—Oceanic, Winter Storm, and Upwelling—each celebrating the dynamic rhythms of the coast. From fog-draped wayfinding moments to Gold Rush-inspired collaboration zones, every story is rooted in the local ecology and the human experience of discovery.
Guided by a cohesive concept masterplan, our team translated these layered narratives into dimensional graphics, custom wayfinding, and immersive brand experiences that bring the campus to life—reflecting Google's spirit of curiosity, creativity, and connection to place.
